The Tech M500 is a member of the AVON Tires family. It is a high performance summer tire, designed specifically for sports coupes, performance sedans, and sports cars. It provides great traction in wet and dry road conditions. Being a summer tire, it is not intended to be used in snowy or icy conditions.
The outer tread on the Tech M500 is made of a silica-enhanced compound. It also features four circumferential grooves for greater traction in wet weather.
The inside is made with two steel belts reinforced with wrapped nylon. Many customers who have used this tire say that the handling on wet surfaces with these tires is great, but they didn't last as long as they had hoped.
